Phillip Santore
Sr. Portfolio Analyst
Phil earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Duquesne University, where he also minored in Communications. While teaching mathematics, he discovered a passion for finance and economics, which led him to earn a second bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Phoenix.
Phil is Series-7 registered and has been a valued member of Marmaras and Smith since 2011. He focuses on portfolio analysis, trading, and portfolio rebalancing, and is responsible for client reviews, asset allocation, portfolio management, security research, and overall client service.
Phil and his wife, Janel, a schoolteacher, live in Lehighton, PA with their son and dog. Outside of work, Phil enjoys sports, music, and the outdoors, particularly biking, hiking, attending concerts, and playing his acoustic guitar.
Before joining M&S, Phil spent nearly eight years teaching mathematics at an all-male juvenile detention facility, where he honed his skills in mentorship and problem-solving.
